EMA 2011 - confirmed two more performances

The alignment of the MTV EMAs 2011 is becoming more and more exciting! Two new artists will join the already fabulous pool of talent in Belfast: Justin Bieber and David Guetta! (Sound of 'eeeeee!').
Both artists are nominated for Best Female Artist this year (Justinis also in the running for Best New Artist and Best Pop Fans), and both are international stars. At just 17 ​​years, Justin has already sold 11 million CDs (not to mention more than 13 million followers on Twitter). And David is a musician with two GrammyAwards and producer whose fifth studio album, 'Nothing But theBeat' mixes pop, electronica and has colaboraçãoes of stars of hip-hop and R & B and Snoop Dogg, Usher, will.i.am and LilWayne.

Snow Patrol and Jason Derulo Will Play the EMAs From City Hall!

This just in: Northern Ireland’s most internationally successful act, Snow Patrol, will be performing on home turf at the 2011 EMAs in Belfast—and U.S. singer-songwriter Jason Derulo will also deliver a set. Both will take the stage at a just-revealed second EMA location: Belfast’s City Hall. Snow Patrol’s performance will be beamed to the Odyssey Arena, and Jason’s will be featured in the EMA red carpet show. (Though it has been announced that the EMA will span a total of three locations, you’ll have to stay tuned to mtvema.com to find out the third!)

‘We’re really looking forward to performing for the EMAs at such a special location on home turf,’ says Irish-Scottish five-piece Snow Patrol, who have sold more than 11 million albums and been nominated for Grammys, EMAs, and the Mercury Music Prize. ‘It’s going to be a great night and a lot of fun.’

‘This is my first EMA and it's an honour to be asked to perform as I've always been an MTV fan,’ says Jason Derulo, whose recent release ‘Future History’ is a follow-up to his smash self-titled 2010 debut. ‘I am also very excited to perform for my Irish fans and visit Belfast for the first time.’

How to earn his ticket to the EMA 2011

This year for the first time, the MTV EMA will be broadcast from three different venues in the same city, so that as many fans as possible can experience the event live. And starting Sunday, 16 October, fans 16 and older will be able to get tickets to watch the performances at Belfast’s City Hall, featuring Snow Patrol (Northern Ireland’s biggest international musical export) and Jason Derulo (the U.S. up-and-comer whose 2010 debut album yielded three top 10 hits).
